After fulfilling those Man U fan boys' dreams, IV and I accompanied YI to fulfill his at Liverpool! Liverpool is big on football too, (i mean, which part of UK isn't? or for that matter, europe?) it also has two rivalry football clubs, Liverpool and Everton. Despite being rivals, they are actually on pretty good and friendly terms, unlike those two in Manchester :P

Soccer balls aside, I think Liverpool has way more to offer than Manchester, from its beautiful albert dock, its tribute to the greatest band of all times, its cheap food, to its funny accent/dialect.

CUTE KID HAHAHAHA (the amount of pictures i snap of  random kids is kinda insane, I know. BUT ANGMOH KIDS ARE SO CUTE!! I want one too! HAHAHAHAHAH)

I STILL DON'T GET HOW ONE LOOKS AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT WHILE CROSSING THE ROAD WHEN IT'S STUCK SIDEWAYS TO THE POLE. Oh, but I really like how patient the English are, they don't just horn pedestrain for merely overstaying 1sec on the road, in fact, they even allow you to cross even though the lights are in their favour.

On the way to the hostel (it was quite a long walk, I remember, but the weather was good, pretty sunny but not hot)

some tribute to his son outside a stranger's house that we walked past

CAMWHORE CAMWHORE *BORED*

Finally! :)

DONT ASK ME WHY THE PARK IS PURPLE, BECAUSE IT REALLY ISN'T, I was just really into coloured filters (on photoshop) then.

The signature red mail boxes!

I really like the vintage feel of this place, everything in Liverpool seems so down to earth and peaceful

pretty in yellow

After checking in, we took a bus to somewhere near THE KOP and walked quite a distance before reaching the Anfield stadium for a tour!!

LOL LOOK AT OUR SYCHRONISED POSE IN THE REFLECTIONS. Pardon my lack of knowledge of the liverpool team (I grew up w a Man U crazy fan of a dad), I didn't know this person is until YI told me he's the best liverpool manager of all time.

Poster of the very first team

YI fulfilled his life long dream of being on the press conference panel ;)

so did these two cute little fans...

Oh btw, did I not tell you that IV and I got the job as their new team managers!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH

I thought their slogan is pretty cool and inspiring

changing room then and now

HAHA SPOT THE CUTE GUY ;)

This girl is damn cute can, forever so excited!

Claiming that Gerrard is the only star she knows, IV wanted to take a picture w his jersey

Apparently this is the typical "touch for good luck" gesture before every match

It was warm by Finnish standards (about 18deg?) and very sunny!

Check out our pimple-less faces ;)

With the stadium as bg!

Most loyal fan ever! It was his bday and he chose to spend it at Anfield :') Judging by his knowledge of the place and team, he probably has been to the stadium 10 million times! We all sang him a birthday song and it was really heartwarming :')

A tile mosaic to commenmorate victims of a disaster

Potato and cheese! I swear liverpool has the cheapest food in UK ;)

Their version of curry and chips!

Sweet and sour chips?

in memory of those who died in the disaster

Sorry liverpool FC fans, Albert dock is still my favourite place in liverpool city :P

Just look at how calm the waters are!!! omg i freaking love the reflections!

one of my favourite pics ;)

Apart from soccer, Liverpool was also the home of the pop culture, The Beatles! :)

Their songs are really timeless..... no wonder they were such a legend... no wait, they still are!

IV was spotted in a club :O

Take your pick, discover you musical side

The super famous abbey road ;)

You may say i'm a dreamer.....

Colourful tickets!

I love how vintage the ice cream trucks in UK look!

Our visit to the beatles museum came with the tickets to see the 4D show (beatles theme(

Yes, i look funny with two shades/specs

Freaking sunny right!

See it was so sunny!

The ese student in me couldn't resist taking a picture of the smoke stack

Apart from wondering around the city, I went shopping too :D
Liverpool is a shopping heaven too! HEHEHE
No prices for guessing where I spent most of my time and money at.......... YES PRIMAK. HAHAHA
but hey, the entire shopping district has plenty of variety in terms of brands and styles too :)
Oh, for Fred Perry fans, you would be delighted to know that the boutique in Liverpool sells their stuff slightly cheaper than the ones in London ;)
But of course, it would be way cheaper if you manage to head to a Fred Perry factory outlet (manchester has one in its outskirts)
by wayyyyy cheaper, i meant like half the Singapore retail price!

Although i like Man U more than Liverpool FC, perhaps due to influences from my dad since I was a kid, I find the city of Liverpool much more attractive and intriguing. In fact, Liverpool city is beautiful, it has this soothing and calming effect on people as they stroll down the streets, especially along albert dock :D The pace of life seems slightly slower relative to Manchester as the latter seems to be all about business and football!
If you ever have a chance, do visit Liverpool :D
Albert dock is too beautiful to miss :)
